Kayseri Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Radyasyon Onkoloji Kliniği KAYSERİ Intradural intramedullary spinal cord (IISC) metastases are considered to be quite rare. They account for 1 to 3% of all intramedullary spinal cord lesions, and 0.9-2.1 % of spinal metastases. IISC metastases have been also reported to arise from primary lesions such as lung, breast, colorectal, prostate, lymphoma, renal cell carcinoma and malign melanoma. Primary origins of each 1/10 patients are obscure. Prognostically location is the most important feature, but the clinical presentation, patient' age and gender are also important. Magnetic resonance imaging plays a central role in the detection of masses and their discriminative characteristics. Treatment is generally surgery, chemotherapy and/or irradiation. In this study, we describe a rare case of IISC metastases in an old patient with lymphoma and together with a review of the literature. Keywords : Lymphoma; Spinal Cord Neoplasm
